Wildfire Learning Center
The Wildfire Learning Center is located at the LAcoFD Malibu Forestry Unit, 942 Las Virgenes Rd, Agoura Hills, 90301. This site includes a demonstration structure and garden displaying proper home hardening and defensible space practices. In addition to the exhibit, the forestry unit has a Native Plant Nursery, which provides free plants to residents of the Santa Monica Mountains.

Demonstration Garden
The Demonstration Garden consists of a clear Zone 0 and then diverse mosaic of fire safe plants, including succulents, pollinator plants, grasses, and more. This was designed by FORMLA and the LAcoFD.


Free Native Plants
Come by Tuesday - Friday from 9 AM- 5 PM to get native plants for your home garden. They have a variety of succulents, grasses, native trees, and more.

Landscape Consultation

Professional Foresters can assist Property Owners with Land Management concerns. This is a 2 hour walkthrough to help identify and solve problems.
